Judge Faye Allen
Orange County Court Judge
Judge Faye Allen was appointed to the bench in September 2005 by Gov. Jeb Bush. Judge Allen received her undergraduate degree from Florida A&M University and her Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University. Judge Allen has been selected by the Orange County Bar Association as the 2014 recipient of the James G. Glazebrook Memorial Bar Service Award. This award is presented to a state or federal judge who best demonstrates service to the legal profession, is dedicated to professionalism both within and outside of the courtroom. She volunteers in the Justice Teaching program in schools such as Howard Middle and Dillard Elem. and Boone HS. She serves on several Boards including the DUI Review Board where she serves as Vice-Chair. In 2007, Judge Allen was selected as Jurist of the Year by the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida and she was recognized as Woman of the Year in the areas of Government and Law by the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council. Judge Allen currently sits as a County Judge in the Civil Division.
The Lake Nona Area Council serves business and community members in Southeast Orlando to:
- * Raise awareness of our council
- * Support business alliances in our community
- * Provide support for our community through service
As an outreach arm of the East Orlando and St. Cloud Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce, the Lake Nona Area Council works with EOCC and SCGOCC members and non-members in Southeast Orlando to support business connections through social and networking events that highlight the opportunities for growth in our community.
