Kelly Nierstedt, President of Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) and senior vice president of Orlando Health and Ohme Entin, Chief Operating Officer of Orlando Regional Medical Center is just what the doctor ordered for our May W.I.S.E. luncheon.
Kelly Nierstedt is president of Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) and senior vice president of Orlando Health. Kelly began her career at Orlando Health in 2018 as the president of Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies. Before joining Orlando Health, Kelly was president of OSF Healthcare Children’s Hospital of Illinois. During her tenure, the Children’s Hospital of Illinois expanded its geographic reach, added several new programs and services, and was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a Best Children’s Hospital.
Kelly also served as vice president of Women’s and Children’s Services at Hackensack Meridian Health, the second-largest healthcare system in New Jersey with multiple sites providing pediatric, neonatal and obstetrical services. For more than 10 years she served in leadership roles with Virtua Health, a large, not-for-profit healthcare system affiliated with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. At Virtua, she developed “Virtua for Women,” a comprehensive care delivery model designed to meet women’s health and wellness needs throughout their lifetime.
She began her career as a staff and charge nurse in Labor & Delivery at Hackensack University Medical Center. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Felician College in New Jersey, and a master’s degree in nursing from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
Kelly is a member of the Children’s Hospital Association, Association of Women’s Health and Neonatal Nursing, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and American College of Healthcare Executives.
Ohme Entin is the chief operating officer of Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center. She is responsible for driving operational performance and executing strategic initiatives for the 808-bed hospital in downtown Orlando, which is Orlando Health’s flagship medical center and home to the area’s only Level One Trauma Center.
She formerly served as president of Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital, where she was responsible for leading the strategic and operational direction for the 84-bed, acute-care hospital, and before that as chief operating officer of Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital.
Ohme has extensive experience in managing healthcare facilities, including leadership roles at Bayshore Medical Center in Pasadena, Texas, and The Woman’s Hospital of Texas in Houston. During her career, she has achieved success in emergency services, operations and facility construction.
A native of New Jersey, Ohme holds a master’s degree in health administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and a bachelor’s degree in public health from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
