SUMMARY:Monthly Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:ULTIMATE I-4 PROJECT\n\nINFORMATION UPDATE\n\n \n\nDavid Parks\n\nI-4 Ultimate Public Information Officer\n\nInformation is everything. Having accurate timely information from a trusted source allows people to make informed decisions\, especially on the roads. Dave has more than 14 years of communications experience that began in news and talk radio. He was called on daily to paint a picture for listeners and explain how the day's news affected their lives. Those same skills translate perfectly into providing public information and outreach for the Florida Department of Transportation. His greatest strength is his ability to comprehend technical details and explain them in a relatable format that nontechnical folks understand.\n\n\n\nA Pennsylvania native\, he split time growing up in both the Sunshine and Keystone states beginning in 1980. After attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania\, Florida became his full-time home in 1997.\n\n\n\nDave is a recipient of the National Transportation Public Affairs Workshop Newsletter of the Year award and Florida Public Relations Association Award of Distinction for his work on iROX\, FDOT's first design-build-finance project.\n\n\n\nDuring his time in radio\, Dave was the play-by-play voice of the Florida Firecats arena football team. They won the 2004 ArenaCup Championship his first year with the team. He also covered high school football both on radio and as a sports writer in southwest Florida.\n\n \nThe Monthly Luncheon is a crowd favorite and we continue to focus on bringing you the Central Florida keynote speakers and topics you want to hear\, right here in East Orlando. No need to drive across town\, we're bringing them to you! Grow your business by connecting with influential business leaders from the community while enjoying a fantastic meal\, no rubber chicken\, cold broccoli\, or mashed potato igloos here!\n\n \n\nThe Monthly Luncheons consist of open networking for the first 30 minutes followed by an awe-inspiring\, earth-shattering\, knock-your-socks-off speaker and are held the third Wednesday of the month\, unless otherwise noted\, at Stoneybrook East Golf Club.\n\n \n\nMake sure to register at least two days in advance to take advantage of your Member Discount!
