This May, MARANDO Studios is introducing an unforgettable photography experience designed to capture the emotional bond between mothers and daughters through heartfelt words and timeless images.

Titled “A Love Letter Between Generations,” this unique offering from Orlando portrait photographer Margie Dotson invites participants to go beyond the traditional photo session. Clients are asked to write a personal letter—either from daughter to mother or mother to daughter—and read it aloud during their session while Margie captures the raw, genuine emotion that unfolds.

“This isn’t just about taking beautiful photos,” says Dotson, founder of MARANDO Studios. “It’s about creating space for women to speak the words that often go unsaid—and preserving those moments in a way that feels deeply personal and lasting.”

The Mother’s Day photo session includes a one-hour in-studio experience, five high-resolution digital images, and an 8x10 keepsake folio featuring one portrait and the printed letter. Sessions are available by appointment or as a gift certificate.

Ideal for mothers with teenage/adult daughters or adult daughters wanting to honor their moms, this mother-daughter photography experience is available exclusively at MARANDO Studios in East Orlando.
