Marketing and Event Intern (Unpaid)
Hours: 2-3 Days a Week - Up to 24 hours
Time Period: Entire Length of Spring, Summer, or Fall Semesters

Job Summary: 

The Marketing and Event Intern will work closely with the Director of Operations on day-to-day tasks. Day-to-day tasks include graphic design, content creation, mailings, engagement efforts and event planning and execution.

Education:

This position is geared toward a junior or senior attending a higher education program with a focus in marketing, public relations, or advertising. 

Job Duties: 

  • Assist in day-to-day operations
  • Create social media content for Chamber events
  • Create mailing outreach and newsletters for Chamber members
  • Plan and manage social media sites and the EOCC website
  • Attend & assist with various Chamber events

Personal Qualifications & Skills Required: 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Highly reliable
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines
  • Applicant must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects
  • Creativity
